The countdown begins

Ok, ok... so it began on December 6th, 2007, the day David and I got engaged. It's getting serious now though, the wedding is coming soon. Tomorrow it will be 5 months away. 150 days to be exact (but who's counting, right?:))

As I was ticking off my list to David of all the things I need to do in the next few weeks and months something hit me. I remembered one of my new years resolutions. The one about spending more time with family and friends. I don't want these things that are on my "to do list" for the wedding to become a chore. I want to make every step, every meeting, every experience worth it. I want to cherish every moment I get to spend with my mom, family, and wonderful friends planning my wedding. This is, of course, a once in a lifetime thing!

I fully realize that time is going to be crunched over the next few months. I will need abundant patience and prayer. But I also know that this is a time I will remember forever. That being said, I am very excited about what is to come!

Please be praying for David and I as we prepare for our wedding.

Things next to do on my list:
1. Check out tux's
2. Settle on wedding music
3. Send in the contract for the band
4. Pick out invitations
5. Get a hair stylist for the wedding
6. Get together lots of addresses
7. Send in the paperwork to the church!
